I need to drop everything that no longer matters. There are two things for me to be focused on right now. School and leetcode. Nothing else matters. Putting in the work for the next 12 months will set me up for the rest of my entire life. I’m too comfortable with being a loser. I don’t want to be a loser anymore. He doesn’t let me work in the room when he’s sleeping. It’s so fucked. Where the fuck am I supposed to work. So here I am, working away on the dining room table. I have a monitor, keyboard and mouse setup upstairs.. A comfy chair. But no, I’m stuck using this bunk ass setup. “I’d prefer it if you went outside to work.” Dude, it’s 11pm. We are in college. What the fuck is this schedule.

How can you possible be proud of being American? Why does American nationalism exists. This country is run by billionaires and special interests groups. Infrastructure is in shambles. The education system is broken. Don’t even get me started on the healthcare system in this country. People aren’t even willing to get a fucking vaccine to save the economy from falling into shambles. Seriously. How can you be proud of being an American today?

Decided to work at fox during this school year. On the day after my interview (today), RS dropped their version of live valve. Not gonna talk about it here, but it’s pretty fucking cool . Overall, it just seems like a super polished version of what the fox crew is trying to do with live valve. This timing is just crazy. The pay is supposedly 25/hr. I think I’m going to ask the HR person if they could do 30 for a homie.

Currently, I’m trying to decide between a networking class and an internship at fox (the suspension). I don’t even know if I gotten the role at fox but just the idea of working in the bike industry again sounds really fun. I’m torn between my goals as a SWE and my goals for life and just having fun as a whole. On the other hand, networking is a really fun class and the fox internship is for mechatronics and not CS.

Don’t live right outside of a bus stop. Buses are loud. The screeching brakes, the really loud acceleration and the sound of the entire thing airing out. Buses start early in the morning and run late into the night. Don’t live right outside of a bus stop. For some reason a bus will never show up when I actually want one, only when I’m trying to go to sleep or at the weeee hours in the morning.
